DIY Spa Day!

Hey beauties!
I'm on holiday now so I'm much more relaxed but during exams and uni I was so stressed out and all I loved to do on the weekends was have a relaxing spa day at home! I'll show you all my favorite DIY masks, different DIY ideas, snacks and much, much more!
First off, let's make the masks!
Using Bentonite Clay:
1. Clay and apple cider vinegar mask: this mask is amazing for oily skin and acne prone skin. The apple cider vinegar will help absorb the oils and will help with acne. The clay will also help absorb any dirt that's on your skin. Use equal parts clay to apple cider vinegar to create a paste.
2. Clay and rose water mask: this is one of the masks I use most frequently as it is very refreshing for the face. It adds a little bit more benefit than just using regular water, but you could use regular water if rose water isn't available to you. Rose water will help sooth, tone, refresh and detox your skin.
3. Clay and essential oils: I've been doing this most because you can change up the oils to suit your needs. I've been loving adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil to my mask with water or rose water and it makes such a difference! It makes the mask very refreshing.
4. Clay and raw honey mask: this mask is great for restoring moisture to your skin and is amazing for acne! Use 1 part mask to 1/2 part water and 1/2 part raw honey.
WARNING: use this mask once or twice a week maximum because it does absorb oils harshly and can exhaust your skin. Do not use a metal bowl to mix these masks as it destroys the properties of the clay. Do not let the mask harden on your skin, leave it on only until it has dried a bit but not till it has fully dried up.
DIY Masks:
1. Banana and Egg Mask: if you feel like your skin is looking dull and sagging a bit, use a ripe banana (the riper the better) and mix it with an with an egg to create a paste. Then apply the paste to your face generously. This will tighten your skin instantly! You can use this mask all over the body also.
2. Yogurt Mask: this is a very simple mask with immediate results! It's as simple as applying yogurt to your face! After 30 minutes, you will notice that your face is so much brighter and softer. You could use this all over the face or only on problem areas that need brightening.
3. Honey and cinnamon: This is a great mask for getting rid of the blackheads, the small white heads and smoothing your skin. However, it might not suit every skin type so before applying it all over the face place a small amount to see how your skin will react to it. Just use 3 teaspoons of honey to 1-1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon and put it in the microwave for 10 seconds. When you take it out it will be very runny but keep mixing it until it turns into a paste. Wait for it to cool down and then apply it with a foundation brush to your problem areas.
Now that you have applied your mask, you need something to do while waiting for it to set!
1- DIY Manicure & Pedicure: get your favorite nail polishes, some lotion, and a manicure kit and pamper yourself!
2- Watch movies or Catch up on your favorite shows
3- Read!
4- Play a few games
For snacks, you should choose foods that will help with your detoxing and will be healthy for you because you don't want the benefits of your mask to be counteracted by unhealthy snacking!
1- Vegetable Strips with dip: cut up celery, carrots and cucumbers (any vegetables will work too!) and some cherry tomatoes and make a dip of your choice. You could either dip them in ranch, labna, or yogurt with some black pepper and paprika.
2- Dipping fruits in chocolate: okay so this isn't the healthiest choice, but you could substitute the chocolate for flavored yogurts.
3- Lebanese bread with Hummus
