Jessup Brushes First Impression!5/05/2015 04:30:00 PM
I recently ordered the Jessup 15-Brush Set from an Instagram shop for 9 BHD (around $24) and wanted to do a quick review on them!
As you can see from the image above, it comes with a mix of 8 face brushes, 1 lip brush and 6 eye brushes. They are extremely soft and amazing quality at first touch. When I first got them some of the names were a bit worn off but nothing extreme to the point of not being able to read what it said so it wasn't a big deal for me. The brushes didn't shed at all, even after spot cleaning them with an instant makeup cleaner! Even with slight tugging, none of the bristles came out!
The brush comes with one duo fiber brush, a synthetic concealer brush, and the rest seem like brush bristles. The brushes work extremely well! The Tapered Face Brush flawlessly applies loose and pressed powder and gives a lovely airbrushed finish without looking cakey. The eye brushes blend amazingly and I used the synthetic concealer brush to apply a loose pigment and it pressed the pigment so well without any fallout, which I haven't ever had!
The only brush I didn't really love was the Blending brush because I felt like it was cut very sloppily and was odd to use. It also felt a bit harsher than the other brushes which also indicates it wasn't cut well.
Overall, for the price, they are extremely amazing quality! They are as soft (if not softer!) than my Coastal Scents and Real Techniques brushes.
Until Next Time,
