Today I thought I'd share my humble collection of MAC lipsticks and talk about some of the finishes I own.

1- Diva (Matte): a beautiful, deep burgandy maroon shade that goes perfectly with a sultry smoky eye or even a bold winged eye. I love this color for special occasions or if I want to give my look something extra special.

2- Up The Amp (Amplified Creme): a color I fell in love with at first sight! It's such a unique lavender shade that is long wearing and moisturizing. I wish I was more daring and wore this color more because it is so beautiful!

3- Twig (Satin): my first nude shade! A dark brown nude with pink undertones. The satin finish makes it long wearing and almost matte whilst still being moisturizing and not drying out my lips. Definitely an oldie but a favorite.

4- Creme in Your Coffee (Cremesheen): Very similar in color with Twig but the only difference is the finish. I put this on when I want a more natural, glossy lip. It's very long wearing for a cremesheen and is still very pigmented which I love about MAC's cremesheen finishes.

5- Mehr (Matte): one of my favorite shades! It's such a girly, soft shade! A blue toned pinky nude shade perfect for an everyday look or if you're going for a very smoky eye and want a natural lip.

6- Velvet Teddy (Matte): I had such high hopes for this shade. When I swatched it in store it looked so good and looked like it would suit me so well but once I bought it and put it on it looked like I had nothing on. This would be a perfect nude for lighter skin tones and it has a very neutral, more brown beige undertones. I love this for lightening lip shades though.

7-  Captive (Satin): one of my most long wearing lipsticks! It makes my lips look so plump and the color is just so beautiful. It's a plum, purple shade that can be worn on any occasion. It has a satin finish so it lasts as long as a matte (I find it even lasts longer!) and isn't drying at all.

8- Hot Tahiti (Glaze): this has to be one of my top go to shades in the summer. It's a warm toned red but being as it is a glaze it's very daily-wear friendly. I get quite intimidated by red lips since I don't feel like they suit me very well but I find that with a glaze finish I can pull it off. It goes on quite glossy and leaves a beautiful stain on the lips!

9- Lickable (Cremesheen): to be completely honest, when I received this shade I actually forgot I ordered it, lol! I don't even remember why I chose to buy this color but I actually kinda love it now! It's a blue toned pink that is very pigmented (don't let the cremesheen finish fool you!) but is very moisturizing and creamy as well. It's great if you want a pop of color and it's also really great for mixing with a darker or lighter color.

10- Viva Glam III (Matte): I love love love this shade for a fierce dark lip! It's a brownish purple toned lipstick and is great if you want to go for a darker neutral shade. I love this in the winter but it's also great all year round. It's very long wearing as well. I find that this is one of my most long wearing mattes.
