Top 5 Tuesday - Brushes

10/07/2014 12:09:00 PM

Hey everyone,

Today I thought I'd share my favorite brushes with you all! I don't have a crazy amount of brushes nor have I tried many brands, but I still wanted to show you my favorites of the brands I've tried. Before I get into the post, I wanted to say thank you for getting me to 1,000 views! I couldn't have done it without you guys!<3

1- Real Techniques' Expert Face Brush: this brush has changed my foundation routine so much. I love how it blends and is so soft on the face! The brush is dense enough to not soak up much product but not to dense that it won't move smoothly on your skin. Definitely something to look into if you're looking for a cheap face brush!

2- Real Techniques' Deluxe Crease Brush: this is the perfect, everyday brush to quickly apply a base color on your eyes, wing your liner and leave! I love this brush because of how big it is so it can cover the whole surface in a short time but not too big where I can't get into my inner corner also.

3- Real Techniques' Contour Brush: I love this brush for setting my under eye concealer! It applies my powder (even pressed!) so sparingly and doesn't make it cake up at all!

4- Coastal Scents' Large Shadow Brush: this brush has changed my eyeshadow skills so much! I used to have such unblended eyeshadow, but with this brush (used clean) I can blend my eyeshadow effortlessly!

5- Beauty Blender: I know this technically isn't a brush, but it is one of my favorite "beauty tools" to use! I use it wet to blend my makeup and to stop it from caking up. Definitely a must have, specially with my dry skin!

All of my Real Techniques' brushes I got off of iHerb.com, which is actually cheaper than a lot of websites! Plus, you can use the discount code: CCG567 to get $10 off your order! Enjoy! xx
